Monkey River Town

Monkey River Town is a small village flanked by the Belizean jungle. Visitors have the opportunity to take guided river tours through mangrove channels and broadleaf forests.  Along the river you will have the chance to see the local wildlife along the banks of the river. You may stop for a hike through the jungle, as your guide points out howler monkeys, tropical birds, and herbal medicines. A short boat ride from Monkey River Town is Snake Cayes, a great location for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.
